Preview: ENC finals 2009

The European Nations Championship 2009 will be entering its final stage tomorrow, as four teams are to play the finals, determining who will be the 2009 champions.
The first matchup will be Germany taking on Poland. Poland went top of their group, winning all matches, only losing two maps; one against Denmark and one against France. This paired them up with Germany who placed second in their group. Germany last season placed second, being defeated in the final by Sweden. Poland on the other hand, missed out on the playoffs last season, but looking at their performance this season, the Poles could very well be a fair candidate to challenge the defending champions, for the 2009 trophy.

The defending champions from Sweden will be facing France, who secured the playoffs spot by defeating Denmark (twice to be exact). Sweden made it look like a walk in the park, as they progressed for their group with maximum points. The Swedes only lost one map, which went to Austria, all other matches was won 2-0. This surely underlines that Sweden are up front to defend the title they conquered last year. France comes to the playoffs without one of the players that played a big role in France going through. Mickael "mSx" Cassisi will not be attending the playoffs, which have already led to Sweden being favored 90/10% favorites.

The European Nations Championship 2009 will conclude tomorrow, with a scheduled final at 18:00CET, while the third/fourth place decider match will be played at 15:15CET. Can anyone beat the Swedes in the race for the trophy?
